Privacy Policy.

Teklens is a brand of Contem GmbH. Throughout this document we use the name “Teklens” consistently.

Privacy Policy

Teklens is committed to the protection, confidentiality and privacy of the information and data entrusted to us, and we take appropriate measures to comply with all applicable data protection regulations. This Privacy Policy applies to the data we process in connection with Agentic Engineering, Project- & Product Management – both the data we collect ourselves through this website as Data Controller and the data we process in the product on behalf of our customers (as Processor). The controller is Contem GmbH.

Our customers are responsible for complying with all regulations or laws that require notification, disclosure and/or obtaining consent prior to transferring personal data to Teklens for processing purposes.

We review and update this Privacy Policy and our measures regularly to adapt them to changed or new requirements. We publish the most current version on our website and recommend reading it at regular intervals. This Privacy Policy was last updated in September 2025. Version 2.0.

Our Product and Services

Teklens is a SaaS planning platform for product teams. With our customers’ consent, the product reads their connected tools – such as Jira, Confluence and GitHub – as well as their source code, in order to support planning, project and product management. The purpose of processing is Agentic Engineering, Project- & Product Management.

The customer decides which systems are connected and to what extent. We process this content solely to provide the agreed service, and not for our own purposes.

Data We Collect Through This Website

Through this website we collect personal data when you use one of our forms: the trial sign-up form, the founder-call booking, or the newsletter subscription. In doing so we process the data you provide, typically your name, email address, company name and your message.

In connection with these enquiries we send transactional emails, such as confirmations and meeting materials. These are sent via Google Gmail and through our sending domain “teklens.info”.

On this website we use Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools connected through it for audience measurement, as well as portal-link tracking to understand whether a link we sent has been opened. Within the EU we only load these tools after you have given your consent.

Processing of Personal Data

The data processed in any specific case depends heavily on the particular interaction and which services are used. Further information about personal data that may be shared in the course of processing is set out below.

Personal data refers to all information that identifies you personally, including contact information such as name, email address, company name and address, phone number and other information about you or your company. Technical information such as log files, the IP address of the internet device, or navigation data may also constitute personal data if it is possible to identify you directly or indirectly from such information.

Sensitive personal data refers to particularly protected information. This includes, for example, credit or debit card numbers, government-issued documents (e.g. passport, social security), biometric information, personal health information, personal information about children, or combinations of information that fall within the definition of “special categories of data” (under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) or other applicable privacy and data protection laws. We do not need such data for our service and do not actively request it.

Infrastructure and Processors

To operate the website and the product, we use carefully selected service providers. Our application data is stored with Supabase; the website is delivered and operated at the edge via Cloudflare. We use Google Gmail to send emails and Google Tag Manager for audience measurement.

We have the required contractual arrangements in place with these providers. We only share personal data to the extent necessary for operation, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

Information and Your Rights

If you wish to obtain information about the processing or storage of your personal data, or to correct, restrict or delete it, you can contact us at any time. We handle your request in accordance with legal requirements.

If your data relates to processing in the product on behalf of one of our customers, that customer is the responsible controller. In that case we forward your request to the relevant customer or support them in responding to it.

Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

Some of the service providers we use may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, in countries where the same privacy and data protection laws may not apply. When data from the European Economic Area or Switzerland is transferred, various legal, technical and organisational mechanisms exist to safeguard the transfer, including the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Please contact us if you require further information about these mechanisms.

Security and Confidentiality of Personal Data

For the security and confidentiality of personal data, we rely on various security technologies and procedures. These procedures aim to protect personal data from unauthorised access, unauthorised use, damage or disclosure. We protect personal data by using measures such as encryption, security certificates and strong multi-factor authorisation procedures. All personal data is protected by complementary, appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures.

We cannot accept responsibility for external websites, third-party content or links to such information on our website.

Retention of Personal Data

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We may also store non-sensitive personal data beyond this period in order to keep in contact with you and to fulfil our services or other contractual obligations. As a matter of principle, we delete personal data when we no longer need it and when any applicable statutory retention period has expired.
